Né le 7 décembre 1989 à Wokingham, Angleterre, Nicholas Hoult est un acteur britannique reconnu pour sa polyvalence. Révélé à 11 ans dans About a Boy (2002) aux côtés de Hugh Grant, il gagne l’attention internationale avec son rôle de Tony Stonem dans la série Skins (2007-2008). Au cinéma, il incarne Hank McCoy/Le Fauve dans la saga X-Men (2011-2019) et brille dans Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) en tant que Nux. Parmi ses performances notables, on compte The Favourite (2018) et Tolkien (2019). En 2023, il joue dans Renfield et The Menu, et en 2025, il incarne Lex Luthor dans Superman de James Gunn. Hoult est également mannequin, ayant collaboré avec Tom Ford. En couple avec le mannequin Bryana Holly, il est père de deux enfants et réside à Londres.
